Recently, Kingdee Software (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Kingdee”) successfully assisted a certain super-large engineering machinery enterprise in smoothly completing the full-module switch of the ERP system. This project is based on Kingdee’s leading, secure, and controllable large enterprise intelligent EBC platform, Kingdee Cloud, which has successfully replaced the original foreign software, further deepening the integration of business and finance, effectively improving the accuracy of enterprise data, on-time delivery rate, supply chain stability, and financial refinement management capabilities, and comprehensively enhancing enterprise operations efficiency.

The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of a certain super-large equipment manufacturing group and is one of the six core business segments of the group. It currently has “three manufacturing bases and two innovation centers” and has been selected as one of the top 50 global manufacturers of construction machinery.

To ensure the independent controllability of the company’s core technology and the secure storage of core data, and to implement the group’s requirements for the company’s future strategic development, the enterprise has chosen to partner with Kingdee to jointly promote the upgrade of the ERP system, comprehensively enhancing the company’s business operations capability and efficiency. After nine months of joint efforts, the project team successfully connected five end-to-end business processes—from sales to payment, from demand to production, from purchase to payment, from parts to service, and from accounting to reporting—focusing on core modules such as sales, R&D, procurement, production, and finance. They completed the integration of various systems and built a new generation ERP system that is user-friendly, technologically advanced, domestically controllable, and flexible in development.

In terms of financial management, Kingdee helped the enterprise build a multi-dimensional accounting system, achieving refined management of cost accounting and international procurement taxes and fees, effectively enhancing the enterprise’s capabilities and efficiency in financial accounting and analysis, and realizing integrated business and financial operations.

In terms of the supply chain, Kingdee provides highly customized solutions based on the industry characteristics of the equipment manufacturing sector and the specific business needs of enterprises, greatly enhancing the operational efficiency of the supply chain system for complete machines, parts, and more.

In production and manufacturing, Kingdee has worked with the enterprise to refine the data management and maintenance processes for materials, BOM, and BOP; enhanced the deployment of data integrity verification, improving the accuracy of data management; and the multi-level planning system complements each other, being simple and flexible, and highly aligned with the business.

The successful launch of this project not only marks an important milestone for the enterprise in the localization of information technology, but also fully demonstrates Kingdee’s strong capability in promoting the digital transformation of core business for enterprises in the equipment manufacturing industry.
